2K slam dunks new sponsorship at the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence

2K is proud to announce its sponsorship of the “Friday Night Live” youth basketball program at the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence (NCIE).

The program is developed for Indigenous young people aged 12-18 years old and includes basketball training drills and “3-on-3” competitions, as well as personal development, life skills and cultural well-being workshops. The first 2K-sponsored “Friday Night Live” will take place this Friday (29th July) at the NCIE in Redfern, Sydney.

“Australian consumers are some of our most passionate fans. We’ve already given them the Boomers in NBA 2K17, now it’s time to give something back to the community,” said Alfie Brody, Vice President of Marketing for NBA 2K.

Kirstie Parker, CEO of NCIE said, ““NCIE is delighted to be working with 2K. Their sponsorship of the “Friday Night Live” program means we can host more young people, put on more workshops and – of course – we can now play NBA 2K in our very own Gaming Lounge!”

The NBA 2K17 Standard Edition will be available in both digital and physical formats for $99.95 on Xbox One and PlayStation®4, for $79.95 on Xbox 360, and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, and Windows PC platforms. The NBA 2K17 Kobe Bryant Legend Edition will be available in digital and physical formats for $119.95 on Xbox One and PlayStation®4.
